Atlas is the name of our son. There's a twofold reasoning behind this selection. First, Atlas refers to the character from Greek mythology. The strongest of the titans, he held the world on his shoulders. Atlas was born during a very turbulent, uncertain, challenging time - and his name symbolized fortitude, endurance and resilience. Second, an "atlas" is a book of maps. It was only fitting that as avid travelers, we would somehow be on a travel theme. But on a more transcendent level, Atlas, our son, gives us more direction, a compass for our life together.
